Hi,

My name is Szymon Długopolski. I’ve been riding motorbikes since I was 10 years old, when my dad and uncle bought me Honda crf 100 for my Holy Communion. Later on when I was growing up, motorbikes were becoming bigger and bigger. My dad and I have been competing in amateur cross country and enduro races. Over time, the adventure of off-road motorbiking moved to roads, where I was mainly driving my Africa Twin. I fell in love as soon as I got on it. Unfortunately, it was on the Africa that I had my accident on August 31st. From the very first moments I knew, that my life would change completely. I hit my legs with all my strength and shouted “what the… I can’t feel my legs!!”.

In the hospital, I’ve been struggling with pneumothorax and multi-organ trauma. Then I started my rehabilitation, which is extremely expensive – first in rehabilitation centers, and later back at home.

If I could feel my legs for just one more day, I would go riding through mountain passes on my motorbike. Motorbiking used to give me incredible freedom. I miss it so much now…

Only with your help, I can get back on my feet and hit the road again.
